Choose images

Simple by design

How it works

1

Choose one or many images

Supported files are read directly by your browser.

2

Set format and size

Choose JPG, PNG, or WebP, plus quality and an optional maximum width.

3

Preview and download

Compare dimensions and file size, then download one file or a ZIP.

Practical guide

Pick a format based on the image

Choose WebP for modern websites when you want smaller files with good visual quality and transparency support. Choose JPG for photographs that need very broad compatibility.

Choose PNG for logos, screenshots, diagrams, and images that require lossless pixels or transparent areas. PNG files can be larger because the format does not use the same adjustable lossy compression as JPG or WebP.

For faster pages, set a maximum width close to the largest size the image will actually display. Converting the format alone does not fix oversized pixel dimensions.

No conversion credits

There is no daily counter, sign-in gate, or per-file server charge.

Batch conversion

Use the same settings across several images and receive clean filenames.

Honest format support

The page lists browser-native formats and explains first-frame GIF behavior instead of failing later.

Helpful answers

Frequently asked questions

How do I convert BMP to PNG?

Choose one or more BMP images, confirm PNG as the output, adjust quality or maximum width if needed, and select Convert. Files stay on this device.

Which image format is best for websites?

WebP often gives the best balance for photographs and interface graphics. JPG is widely compatible for photos. PNG is best when you need lossless pixels or transparency.

Can I convert several images at once?

Yes. Select a batch, apply one set of output settings, and download one result directly or several results together in a ZIP.

Are HEIC, TIFF, SVG, or RAW supported?

Not in this browser-native version. Those formats need extra decoders with larger downloads or platform restrictions. The tool intentionally lists only formats it can process privately with broad browser support.
