Tool data and site telemetry

No account is required. File and text tools process the content you select or enter in your browser. Site telemetry is separate from that processing: using a local tool does not mean the website makes no network requests.

Our custom analytics events do not include file contents, filenames, pasted text, passwords, names entered in the wheel, or timer labels. They use a fixed list of event names and permitted metadata values.

Google Analytics is enabled

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure page visits, tool starts, completion at compression-ready or other shared file downloads, compression errors, downloads, and page performance (CLS, FCP, INP, LCP and TTFB). Guide-to-tool clicks are also measured. Copy-result events are supported by our event helper but are not currently wired to copy controls.

Custom event metadata includes a grouped page path, tool identifier, English/Thai locale, permitted output format, compression preset or operation, and performance values, ratings and generated measurement IDs. Page URLs sent by our code omit query strings and fragments; referrers retain only HTTPS origins from a fixed list of Google (including google.co.th), Bing, DuckDuckGo and Yahoo search hosts, without paths, queries or fragments; other referrers are blank and page titles are fixed route labels. Unknown paths are grouped as “other”.

The Google tag loads automatically; this site currently has no in-site analytics consent toggle. Google Analytics can use cookies for browser and session identifiers and collect browser/device, language, screen and engagement information. Network requests also expose connection information to their recipient. Our code disables Google signals and ad-personalization signals; this is not a promise that third-party services collect no data.

Our runtime check also observed automatic scroll measurement from the Google tag. Google Analytics account settings can enable other automatic measurements, such as outbound clicks, searches, form interactions or history-based pageviews. We cannot verify those account settings from this website’s source code. Our custom-event filtering does not govern every event generated by the Google tag.

Read how Google uses information from partner sites. You can manage cookies and site data in your browser, block analytics with browser controls, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Clearing cookies does not stop new collection on later visits or delete data already received by Google.

Browser storage and clearing history

Local storage persists across visits on the same browser profile. The Unix converter saves conversion history. The session timer saves the active session, label, laps and history. The countdown saves its state and sound setting. Wheel of Names saves entered names and settings separately for English and Thai. These local values are not included in our custom analytics events.

Use Clear History in the Unix converter; use the timer’s clear-history control and confirm to remove saved timer history (the active session is separate). The wheel’s Clear control removes names for the current language; clearing its winners list is a separate action. To remove all saved settings and histories, close other JustUtils tabs and clear JustUtils site data in browser settings. Opening tools again can create new default entries.

Session storage records whether a tool has been started in the current tab to avoid counting repeated interactions as new starts. Browser site-data controls can clear it. Closing a tab normally ends that session; browser restore behavior can vary. Clearing site data does not delete source files, downloads, clipboard contents or backups. Delete those separately when needed.

Device previews and shared links

The device simulator loads websites directly in an iframe. The embedded website receives your browser’s request and may use its own cookies or storage, subject to your browser settings. Its privacy policy applies to any information entered there. We do not proxy the embedded page through a conversion server.

Preview settings remain in page memory. Share links encode the loaded URL and display settings in a readable URL fragment. Anyone with a shared link can read its contents; avoid including private access links. Copy link writes that link to your clipboard. Our custom analytics code does not include URL fragments or entered preview URLs.

Other services

The site also requests application assets and Google-hosted fonts. The current layout does not load an AdSense advertising script. Third-party requests are governed by their providers’ policies. Emailing us supplies the address and content you choose to send.

Children's Privacy

Our website is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
