Reliable QR codes for first-time users
A QR code is an image that stores instructions.
A phone camera reads the square pattern and recovers the content inside it. This generator creates a standard static QR code in your browser: there is no JustUtils redirect between the scanner and your destination, and no account is needed to keep it active. The trade-off is simple—once printed, its stored content cannot be edited.

Understand the format
Static means direct, permanent, and not editable.
A static website QR code contains the destination itself. Scanning does not need a QR-provider account or redirect server, so the QR pattern does not expire and has no provider-enforced scan count. The destination still needs to remain online.
A dynamic service replaces your destination with its own short redirect. That can provide editable links and analytics, but it also creates a dependency on the service, its terms, and often a paid plan. This tool intentionally generates only static codes and shows the exact embedded content.
QR error correction reconstructs some damaged modules. Medium is a good default. Higher recovery makes a denser code and helps when a print may be scratched, but it does not rescue poor contrast, a missing quiet zone, or an extremely small print.

Check before you copy
- Do not put passwords, private notes, access tokens, or personal data in a public QR code. Anyone can decode its content.
- A QR code does not prove a link is safe. Use HTTPS, choose a recognizable domain, and avoid redirect chains when possible.
- Do not crop away the blank quiet zone, place the code over a busy image, invert the colors, or print it without testing the final material.
Common questions
Answers for first-time users
Do these QR codes expire or have a scan limit?
No. This tool creates a static QR code that stores your exact content in the pattern. JustUtils does not route scans through a tracking link, so it cannot deactivate the code or count its scans. A website QR code will still fail if the destination website itself moves or closes.
What is the difference between a static and dynamic QR code?
A static code directly contains the destination and cannot be edited after printing. A dynamic code usually contains a service-owned redirect, which lets its owner change the destination and collect analytics but may require an ongoing account or subscription.
Is my Wi-Fi password uploaded or saved?
No. The QR image is generated locally in your browser. The password is embedded in the finished QR code, however, so anyone who can scan or photograph that code may be able to join the network.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for screens, documents, and everyday sharing. Use SVG for professional printing or design software because it stays sharp at any size. Always test the final exported file before ordering prints.
Why will my customized QR code not scan?
Low contrast, a missing blank border, very small printing, glare, damage, or too much dense content can hurt scanning. Restore the safe colors, keep the standard quiet zone, shorten the content, and test on more than one phone.
Can I change the destination after printing?
Not inside a static QR code. For a website you control, you can point the code to a short URL on your own domain and later change that page or redirect. Test and maintain that URL yourself so you are not dependent on a QR subscription service.
