A Live Photo has two linked files: a JPEG cover and a MOV video. Safari can create and download them, but it cannot add them directly to your Photos library as one Live Photo.
- Download the ZIP and unzip it. Keep the JPG and MOV together with their original matching filenames.
- On a Mac, open Photos → File → Import and select both files together. Check that the imported photo shows LIVE, then sync it to your iPhone with iCloud Photos. An iOS app that explicitly imports Live Photo pairs is another option.
- On iOS 17 or later, go to Settings → Wallpaper → Add New Wallpaper → Photos. Select the Live Photo and enable motion if iOS offers it.
iOS decides which Live Photos can animate as wallpaper. An exported pair may work in Photos while iOS declines wallpaper motion. This feature cannot guarantee wallpaper eligibility; Live Photo wallpapers animate the Lock Screen when it wakes.

Your video stays on your device. No upload, external conversion service, or server-side processing is used. Export libraries load only when needed.
Short, smooth motion
Select 0.5–3 seconds. Output is silent H.264 at 30 fps, up to a 1920-pixel long edge. Portrait mode crops the center; original ratio keeps the whole frame. HDR sources are rendered to standard dynamic range.
Browser support
Export requires H.264 WebCodecs encoding. Support is checked on your device. Use a current Safari, Chrome, or Edge; input playback also depends on its video codecs. Keep the tab visible during export.
